FPRA SWFL brings a ‘fresh’ approach to social media marketing with a look at restaurant chain First Watch

PressReleasePing - April 19, 2017 -The Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) Southwest Florida Chapter will present a workshop on Tuesday, May 16 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Edison Restaurant, 3583 McGregor Blvd., Fort Myers. The luncheon will give attendees a look at how local neighborhood restaurant First Watch has whipped up a better breakfast experience with fresh food and fresh social media marketing. First Watch public relations and communications manager Eleni Kouvatsos will discuss some of the ways in which the company has been able to maintain a local, neighborhood feel and build brand loyalty as it’s grown to hundreds of location in dozens of states. Kouvatsos will also talk about why media relationships and localized social media efforts are more important now more than ever before and the benefits of leveraging mobile marketing at the local level, across all channels. Kouvatsos joined the First Watch team in January 2015 after graduating from the University of Florida in 2014. As a public relations and communications manager for the company, she manages every public relations function for the restaurant entity including publicity and media relations, community involvement, sponsorships and events, customer service, social media, branding projects and more. The cost for attending the May luncheon is $25 for members, $35 for non-members and $15 for students. Space is limited so please register early.
